What are Mixed Games?

If you entered the sport of poker during or after the poker boom, then most likely, you learned Texas Holdem.  The good news is there is a lot more poker out there to enjoy!  Omaha, Omaha High Lo, Stud, Stud High Lo, Razz, Triple Draw, and more! Often referred to as "Mixed Games" because they are played together at times in the same game. For example, HORSE is 5 different games being played in one game.  Holdem, Omaha High Lo, Razz, Stud, and Stud Eight (Another Word for Hi Lo).

Join us in learning these wonderful games! It is open to anyone who wants to learn, and it's FREE!  Our mission is to bring more women into the game, and to expand the knowledge of women who already play! These lessons are for beginners to mixed games... not new to poker. =)  All lessons are available to you from the comfort of your own home!

Lessons are being taught by Mixed Game Enthusiast, and WPA President, Lupe Soto.  These lessons have been successfully taught in Live poker settings in the past, and we're excited to be sharing them online! Just remember to watch the videos as often as you'd like and then... PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE! Our focus is on the games played in HORSE. However, we added Omaha HIGH in the series since it's the easiest mixed game to learn if you're a holdem player.  And of course we're not covering holdem at all.... you know that game already! Best of luck to you!
