Lynne MitchnickI’m excited about being a WPA Advocate, and hope that my skills will help benefit the organization. I love poker, both the game and many of the people in the poker world. After playing NLHE casually since 2004, I decided to study the game in 2007 and have been an avid student ever since. While primarily a cash game player, I also have ~$200,000 in tournament cashes through 2018. I play mostly NLHE, but occasionally some PLO, Chinese poker, crazy pineapple, and razz. My corporate career has been mostly in market research and marketing, with clients in a wide variety of industries. Mentoring has been an important part of my corporate life; I served on the faculties of two industry organizations, and on a graduate school advisory committee. My love for poker led me to start doing private coaching in 2013. Then in 2016, I started conducting group workshops. When not working or playing poker, my favorite pastimes are traveling, live performances (plays, concerts, magicians, comedy clubs, etc.), being in the air (skydiving, ballooning, etc.), time with family and friends, going to the movies, attending tennis matches, exploring places that are new to me, and new experiences in general.
